Provence is at its best from spring through autumn, offering warm weather, colorful local markets, and beautiful scenery. To see lavender fields at their peak, visit from mid-June to mid- or late July.
Provence is beautiful in winter as well, but temperatures are much cooler and many 5* hotels close for the season.
