Over the years, Carol Ketelson has perfected the formula for a successful trip: Small groups of four to seven people, an attentive host, relationships with trustworthy business partners, and unique off-the-beaten-track adventures. Her contacts worldwide include local cooks, artisans, producers, internationally-renowned chefs, and personable vineyard owners—all the perfect ingredients to enjoy a first-class experience.
In 2000, Carol ventured to Italy for a business trip and arrived in the beautiful town of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast. She immediately felt at home and returned to the area often. Determined to share Italy’s beauty with others, Carol officially launched her company in 2008.
For over 12 years, Carol’s tours have captured the true essence of some of the most beautiful regions of the world, from the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, and Puglia (Italy) to Andalucia (Spain), Burgundy, France, Ireland, India and Bhutan. Delectable Destinations is currently developing new programs for Denmark, Portugal and Greece. The tours are ideal for anyone with a passion for travel, discovering the local cuisine, culturally rich traditions and mesmerizing sights.
